Chairs for Weiwei
In keeping with our promise to show support for the renowned chinese artist Ai Weiwei who has been detained by chinese officials, our family drew chairs on our driveway at 1pm today. Our chalk drawings will probably not be understood by the dozens of motorists, walkers, runners and bikers that go past our driveway everyday. They probably will think we are a tad bit crazy. Oh well. But perhaps, just perhaps, one of them will slow down and take time to learn about Weiwei's compelling art and story that is captivating the world. Will you?
