Every year the mice do a number on my beehives. Those pesky little things are so cute, but can be really damaging to a beehive in winter, especially after a deadout which was the case for all 3 of my hives this year. I need to replace wax foundation on at least a couple dozen frames. The nice thing is that I will have a big pile of wax to melt down and try to make candles.

| Mice have eaten most of the wax on this frame which must cleaned out before replacing with new wax. |
| The old wax is all cleaned and scraped out. |
| I install the new beeswax foundation onto which the bees will build new comb. |
| 5 frames with new wax foundation and the pile of old wax |
